Dixon, MD, MBchB, FRACP, FACC Dr. Dixon specializes in cardiovascular disease at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, which is considered to be one of the nation's most experienced providers of heart care. He was also the first in the United States to use the IMPELLA 2.5 minimally invasive left ventricular assist device which launched the national clinical trial of the device. Dr. Dixon is an associate editor of The Journal of Interventional Cardiology, and he’s been published in numerous scientific journals.
