Robert S. B. Clark, MD
Dr. Clark is the Program Director for the Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. He is the Associate Director in Molecular Biology at the Safar Center for Resuscitation Research at the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Clark’s current research interests include: cell death and survival pathways after brain injury, traumatic brain injury, pediatric cardiopulmonary arrest, and pediatric neurointensive care. He has won many awards for his work including the National Institutes of Health Pediatrician Scientist Development Award (1998), the National Institutes of Health Clinical Investigator Award (1996-2001), and the Society of Critical Care Medicine Neuroscience Award (1998). He has contributed to many publications including the text Brain Injury (Molecular & Cellular Biology of Critical Care Medicine).
